The Linen Suite
A restful guest suite shaped around soft light, natural textiles and a generous view.
The brief
A restful guest suite shaped around soft light, natural textiles and a generous view. The project began with a measured survey, an honest discussion of the budget and a room-by-room record of what the clients wanted to keep.
The challenge
The suite needed to balance the comfort of a home with the durability of a small hotel. We concealed practical storage within pale oak panelling and specified washable linen and replaceable lamp fittings.
Our response
The bed faces the morning light, while a deep window seat offers a separate place to read. A restrained material palette lets small changes in texture carry the room.
Materials and lasting value
We worked with a small set of materials, reviewed full-size samples and resolved junctions before site work began. The finished space is easy to maintain and adaptable as its occupants’ needs change.
From drawing to handover
Our team coordinated lighting, joinery and furnishing schedules with the contractor. A final walk-through and a clear care guide completed the work.
